Viony Medlin

Viony Medlin, RYT® 500, began her yoga practice after years of stress and living life according to other people's perceived expectations of her. She worked in public accounting and corporate tax accounting for many years which drained her and made her feel so far away from who she was. She knew deep down that she had a passion for fitness and wellness but didn't know how to leave the anxiety-ridden career she had to pursue that dream.

When she became a new mother, Viony left the corporate world to stay at home with her daughter. She reignited her love of fitness and started exercising with a group of moms for connection as well as overall health. During this time, she started practicing yoga as a way to complement her fitness training. But what she thought was just "stretching and breathing" became a life centering and transformational practice that healed her from the inside out. This experience ignited her to embark on a journey of discovering her authentic life's work. That’s when she started working with business coaches and life coaches for several years that guided her to where she is today.

Viony is the owner and founder of Balanced AF Consulting where she helps feminine entrepreneurs establish healthy financial habits to find balance in their businesses and their lives. In her work she integrates yogic philosophies and a holistic worldview with her many years of experience as a tax accountant. Her uncanny ability to understand all viewpoints and her insatiable desire to learn and grow distinguishes her as a mentor. She loves her clients and desires everyone to live authentic and full lives founded in stability and security.

She has 20+ years of experience in fitness, is a CrossFit athlete, and lives a fulfilling life with her high school sweetheart husband, Chad, elementary-aged daughter, Arya, and their goldendoodle pup, Ruby.
