Christa Hogan (she/her) is an RYT 500 yoga teacher who began her journey after a friend invited her to a class in her twenties. But she didn't discover the real power of yoga until she began meditating to manage stress in her forties. She then approached her yoga practice with a new perspective. Now she teaches yoga as meditation with movement by focusing on the breath and mind-body connection through Vinyasa, gentle flow, and Yin.
Before becoming a yoga teacher, Christa studied journalism and creative writing and worked as a freelance writer, providing content for magazines, radio, blogs, corporations, non-profits, and children's book publishers. When not working on picture books and novels, she's traveling, spending time outdoors, spoiling her labradoodle, and hanging out with her friends. She and her husband are raising three (amazing) boys together.
