Cora-Ann aims to create a welcoming atmosphere where anyone can feel comfortable on their mats and enjoy movement. Cora-Ann started teaching Yoga in 2019, and has been teaching group fitness and personal training since 2011. Her yoga practice started as a way to recover from workouts and heal from injury but has evolved over time into a tool to overcome both physical and emotional challenges. Yoga became a practice that helped her tune into what her body was trying to tell her and how to listen and respect her body. Wanting to truly understand the transformative and philosophical aspects of yoga, she enrolled in her 200-hour immersive teacher training in Raleigh, NC with Blue Lotus, finishing in 2019. She then completed her 300-hour teaching training at The Yoga Connection in Smithfield, NC in 2022. She loves that yoga offers endless opportunity to learn and live more intentionally, as well as connect spiritually.
Originally from New Jersey, Cora-Ann met her husband in Indiana, and they moved to North Carolina together in 2017. They have 3 cats, and enjoy fitness, health, music, and going to concerts together. Outside of yoga and fitness, Cora-Ann also enjoys reading, writing, guitar, and making art.
